The restoration project of Palazzo Spineda was born from the desire to restore value and a new identity to a historic building of great prestige located in the heart of Treviso’s historic center.
The history of the palace, whose origins date back to the 16th century and intertwine with even older structures, became the starting point for a project capable of combining historical memory with contemporary design. The aim of the intervention was to reinterpret the original spaces according to a new concept of living, while preserving the authentic soul of the residence.
During the restoration process, architectural elements and decorative features long hidden over time came to light and were carefully recovered and enhanced through new functions and renewed design perspectives. From this rediscovery emerged a design approach based on the balance between preservation and innovation, introducing spaces and solutions conceived to meet the needs of contemporary living.
Great attention was devoted to the selection of materials, tones, and geometries, with the intention of creating harmony between the historic elements and the modern interventions, bringing back the original proportions and elegance of the Venetian palace.
The intervention focused on removing the layers accumulated over time, restoring prominence to the symbolic spaces of the residence: the entrance hall, the grand reception salon, the monumental staircase, and the internal courtyard with its green garden.
These elements made it possible to reinterpret the historic interiors in a contemporary way, restoring Palazzo Spineda to the prestigious residential role it has always held in the history of the city.
Tradition and contemporary language thus become the two main references around which eight exclusive residences have been developed — the result of a design approach that combines the excellence of local craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and the use of the most advanced technologies, giving life to unique and elegant living spaces.
