When a purchase proposal for a real estate property is signed and accepted, it becomes necessary to ensure that the sales contract is correctly registered.
To complete the registration procedure it is important to fill in the Modello RAP, a form that allows you to forward the request to the Italian revenue agency Agenzia delle Entrate.
The Form Modello RAP can be downloaded directly from the Agenzia Delle Entrate website, and is made up of several sections. Specific data on the signed contract must be provided, such as information about the property and the subjects who took part in the contract.
The application also needs to be accompanied by the taxes payment receipt and a copy of the deed to be registered, together with identity documents.
Once registration has been successfully completed, the office will return a summary paper with registered data.
This type of detail and other useful information are available directly on the Agenzia delle Entrate website, where users are also provided with specific tools in order to allow verification concerning the properties of interest.
